Foster Care and Adoption

PCHAS is also committed to helping adoptees understand their adoption, so we provide counseling or referral services to to all members of the adoption triad (adoptee, birth family, and adoptive family). We are required to keep adoption records in our archives for an extended period of time, and we will assist you in finding the information that you seek. All adoptions are also registered with the Texas Adoption Registry as required by the Family Code.

PCHAS offers post-adoption services to our clients in our adoption programs. This includes clients who worked with Homes of St. Mark. Homes of St. Mark merged with PCHAS in 2010, and services have continued for those adoptees, adoptive parents and birth parents who worked with us prior to the merger.
