Children can never have too many people who love them. Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services provides support to both birth and adoptive families to ensure everyone is prepared.
We provide counseling for maternity clients during and after pregnancy. When a birth mother needs help that extends beyond six weeks after delivery, we connect her to a PCHAS Child and Family Specialist. We provide housing, medical care, and other necessities through this program.
Learn MoreWe guide adoptive families through the family assessment and legal process and train them so they’re prepared to bring a child into their home. We offer support and counseling every step of the way.
Learn MoreSometimes it’s in the best interest of a child to be placed with a relative. When a child can no longer live at home, a relative may be asked to become the child’s guardian. Often called “kinship care,” we help relatives through the process of becoming licensed care providers.
Learn MorePresbyterian Children’s Homes and Services (PCHAS) recognizes that adoption is a lifelong process, and we are committed to meet your needs as time goes on. We offer post-adoption services to our clients in our adoption programs, including clients who worked with Homes of St. Mark (who merged with PCHAS in 2010).
