Spring Break is about having fun, making memories, and refueling to finish the school-year strong. Whether you like to spend your time off in the woods, at the beach, with relatives, or at home, if you're a kid, teacher, or parent, it's almost guaranteed you'll agree the break is needed and overdue.

Everyone deserves a childhood full of special moments, and these breaks from everyday routine, especially when infused with an adventure of some sort, can form some of the best memories. At PCHAS, we want children in foster care to have the opportunities we want for all our kids, and we teach our families that providing "normalcy" matters deeply. Foster care restrictions can make children feel different, but by focusing on normalcy, our families give them a chance for experiences they'll never forget.

We want kids to be kids! We want them to sit around a campfire for the first time, take a road trip, and enjoy the outdoors as the weather gets nicer, but kids need parents to make things happen. Unfortunately, there is a shortage of foster families in Texas right now, especially for school-aged kids and sibling groups.

You can help us find the families Texas kids deserve by learning more and spreading the word. Connect with a Foster Care & Adoption Guide at (281) 324-0544 or fosteradopt@pchas.org or Join An Online Info Session.
