Connection Is Key

Connection and support are invaluable for families who make themselves available to be the safe, loving, nurturing family for kids with a history of abuse or neglect. We recently asked several PCHAS foster and adoptive families to share their experiences of giving and receiving support with other foster and adoptive parents. Our Foster Care & Adoption programs in Wichita Falls & Graham, Cypress (Houston), Irving (Dallas/Fort Worth) and Itasca have unique opportunities for families to connect and learn. We also have a list of external resources that may be helpful for your family. Most importantly, foster and adoptive families need support – we don’t want you to do this on your own!
