Did you know Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services (PCHAS) has a community for foster families in Itasca, Texas?
The Foster Care Village is fifty miles south of Fort Worth at our historic Itasca campus. The Village has six large homes for families to foster in a community of other foster families. Case managers, program leadership, Village Life and education staff office within the community. A family dedicated to providing overnight relief care lives at The Village among the foster families. Village families can access amenities, including a swimming pool, playground, gym, fitness center and much more.
When a family moves to The Foster Care Village, they agree to parent five or six children at a time, including up to two biological or adopted children. PCHAS waives the rent and utilities for fostering families and supplies a generous reimbursement to offset the cost of caring for kids.
We are always eager to meet mature, committed couples who like the idea of having a big home and raising a bunch of kids. To foster at The Village, you need to be financially stable, connected to your faith, and able to relocate.
Our Virtual Tours are an easy way to see The Village and learn more about the community from the comfort of your home in 30 minutes.
