The new school year is upon us. It is an exciting time, but it can be a big adjustment for kids in foster care. Here are ten ways you can join PCHAS in praying for kids in foster care as they return to school:
Pray for Emotional Well-being: Pray children in foster care experience a sense of stability, belonging, and love in their classroom and school.
Pray for Confidence: Ask for confidence and self-assurance for the kids in foster care as they interact with new classmates and teachers. Pray they feel secure in expressing themselves and making new connections.
Pray for Supportive Relationships: Ask God to provide positive and supportive relationships for kids in foster care and their teachers, classmates, and school staff. Pray they find people who understand and encourage them.
Pray for Academic Success: Pray they grasp new concepts, excel in their studies and find joy in learning.
Pray for Kindness and Acceptance: Pray for school to be an environment of inclusivity and understanding.
Pray for Physical and Mental Health: Ask for strength and resilience in facing any difficulties.
Pray for Joy and Friendship: Pray kids in foster care find joy in their school experiences, make lasting friendships and create positive memories.
Pray for Confidence in Their Identity: Pray for children to develop a strong sense of identity and self-worth and carry this confidence into their school life.
Pray for Foster Families: Include the foster families in your prayers, asking for wisdom, patience and love as they support the children.
Pray for a Bright Future: Pray for the future filled with hope God desires for each of His children.
We are grateful you care about children in foster care and want to join us in praying for them. Keep this list to help you remember to pray throughout the year!
