Child and Family Specialist Josh Smith and Senior Development Officer Allison Harris recently spoke with radio personality Chrissie Murnin about how PCHAS is helping children and families in San Antonio. "It's really about helping children form positive relationships," Smith told Murnin."It's about supporting families and helping them understand that it matters how you respond to the children in your home. It matters how their teachers respond to them at school. It matters at church—how they're interacting with other kids and adults there. The more we learn about trauma, the more we realize it's really a community effort to help these children heal."
