PCHAS’ Waxahachie, TX campus has served the community in many ways since it opened in 1960. Over the years, we have adjusted our services to better help our clients according to their needs so that no child is left behind.


Often, young people in foster care haven’t been given the tools they need to be successful when they turn 18 and are on their own for the first time. That’s where PCHAS’ Transitional Living program comes in.  Ashley Ford of the Waxahachie Daily Light writes, “A nationwide study conducted by the Pew Charitable Trust found 35 percent of teens in foster care become homeless soon after aging out… Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services, also known as PCHAS, provides support and resources to combat that statistic.” Read more
