Vice president Linda Bishop has announced plans to retire this spring. During her tenure, PCHAS has grown to 14 programs in 28 locations. She was instrumental in our mergers with the Homes of St. Mark and PCHAS of Missouri, making programmatic changes in several locations and renovating our facilities. After 18 years of directing finance and administration, she looks forward to having more time for family and hobbies, including genealogy.
While no one can replace Linda, PCHAS hopes to introduce a new vice president of finance by mid-year. The agency, which now employs the equivalent of 275 full-time staff across three states, has created two new positions upon Linda’s retirement.
Jeanine Watson has been promoted to vice president of human resources. Jeanine earned her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Studies from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri and a Master of Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, Online. She has held her Professional Human Resources Certification since 2008. Jeanine joined the PCHAS of Missouri staff eight years ago and soon became its director of human resources. After the 2018 merger, Jeanine continued directing the department for the merged agency.
Cindy Lively has accepted the position of vice president of administration, which oversees facilities, information technology and services and risk management. Cindy joined the PCHAS staff in 1984 as a direct care worker. Throughout the years she has served in many capacities including director of cottage life, recreation director, case manager, therapist, executive director, director of quality assurance and director of risk management. She has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Truman University in Kirksville, Missouri and a Master’s of Arts Degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Josh Smith, who worked for PCHAS for seven years, has returned in a new role: Central Regional Director in Texas. He will direct programs that provide self-sufficiency training for single parents, assist youth aging out of foster care and strengthen families in crisis. Josh succeeds Pam Crawford, who served the agency for 20 years before retiring.
Another longtime friend of PCHAS has also joined the staff. Diane Pennington joined the staff as Development Officer for Dallas, East Texas and Northern Louisiana. She brings development experience from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary and is an ordained interfaith and interspiritual minister.
