We are so excited for each and every one of our graduates and what their future holds. We want you to get a glimpse of the amazing young men and women we have had the privilege of getting to know through our Group Home Program, in their own words. Meet John.

10th grade year; 15 years old

What are your plans after graduation?

I planning to attend Hill Country College for my basics and then transferring to Texas State Technical College in Waco.

I work at Whataburger. Before that I worked at Taco Bell.

What are your interests outside of school (could be a hobby, church group)? What church activities have you participated in (Vacation Bible School (VBS) youth choir, etc.)?

Cooking; one of my specialties is pastry, especially cinnamon rolls.

What are you known for (could be a personality trait, musical talent, athletics, academics) by your friends and housemates?

I’m known for being kind; I make people smile; I’m slow to anger.

Our VBS trip to Padre Island.

Make sure to stay tuned to meet our other graduates!
