Peter joined the staff of Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services in 2011 and supervises the agency’s development, communication and volunteer management teams. Peter has been a Minister of Word and Sacrament and an executive fundraiser for 30 years. Prior to joining PCHAS, he was the vice president of advancement at San Francisco Theological Seminary; chief development officer of Church World Service in New York; development officer of the Presbyterian Foundation in Illinois; director of stewardship, communications and development for Chicago Presbytery; and associate pastor of Newport Presbyterian Church in Bellevue, Washington.
Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from the University of California at Los Angeles and a master’s of divinity from San Francisco Theological Seminary. Peter is currently the Chair of Mission Presbytery’s General Council. In his spare time, Peter enjoys traveling internationally with his family, going to the movies and reading.
