Wanda McKinley, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor. She earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Phoenix and is pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Community Care and Counseling specializing in Traumatology from Liberty University.
For more than three decades, Wanda has served the North Texas community. She believes knowledge empowers people and has dedicated her life to helping others through education about healthcare, insurance, and mental health.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Wanda combines expertise with compassion to support her clients, focusing most of her work in the area of trauma and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), self-esteem, and depression. Her best-selling books, dynamic speaking engagements, and many awards are a testament to her commitment to mental health advocacy.
In the counseling room, Wanda helps individuals and families overcome life's challenges through therapy and hypnosis. Her unique approach draws from her deep understanding of trauma recovery, allowing her to build meaningful connections with clients while providing clinical support. She brings extensive training and experience in specialized areas, including anger management and domestic violence rehabilitation.
Wanda's therapy practice centers on three core principles: empowering clients to make positive changes, mentoring them through difficult transitions, and educating them with practical tools for lasting wellness. Guided by her Christian faith, Wanda partners with clients on their journey to healing and self-sufficiency. She helps them set and achieve meaningful goals with her special blend of professional expertise and heartfelt dedication.
