PCHAS is excited to announce its “Home Sweet Home” Capital Campaign, a follow-up to its “Epiphany: Standing in the Presence of Christ” Capital Campaign, designed to greatly expand its San Antonio campus programs for struggling single parents, youth transitioning out of foster care and families at risk of breaking apart. Gifts and pledges of $4,578,080 enabled PCHAS to reach the Epiphany campaign goal in August, 2020.
The "Home Sweet Home" campaign's goal of $420,000 will provide funding needed to complete its duplexes, efficiency apartments and other scheduled campus improvements. Towards its goal, PCHAS has received pledges and gifts totaling $182,800, leaving a balance still to be raised of $237,200.
Finishing touches to PCHAS’ expanded campus in San Antonio include technology for educating parents and children, household furniture, necessities, and improving surfaces, such as resurfacing the basketball court and adding sidewalks and walkways. At this time, PCHAS invites individuals, churches and foundations to make multi-year pledges or outright gifts. Several naming opportunities still remain and are detailed below.
The expanded campus will serve 16 single parents and an estimated 48 children in duplex residences, 5 young adults transitioning out of foster care in efficiency apartments and 15 families in the surrounding community at risk of breaking apart. Join us so that the families and young adults we serve will be able to walk into these new homes and say, “Home sweet home!”
