Many families think about fostering or adopting but aren’t sure they meet the requirements. Others worry they don’t have “what it takes.” At PCHAS, we’re not trying to find “perfect” parents; we’re looking for safe, loving, nurturing people who are willing to join a child’s story and become the family they need.

More details are on our website.
Every child is unique, so we need many different types of families. That’s why we work with people who are single, married, divorced or widowed; experienced or first-time parents; working, retired, or somewhere in between; and homeowners or renters.
The most important aspects of the place you call home are safety and space. You’ll need to pass a fire and health inspection and we’ll help you prepare. Your home’s size will need to be a good fit for the number of people. Every child must have their own bed to sleep in, but kids may share bedrooms.
To become a Foster or Adoptive Family, you’ll participate in training, complete necessary paperwork and answer lots of questions as our team gets to know your family.
PCHAS is grateful for families like you that enter the world of children who need the safety and love of a family. We see God’s healing and growth in the lives of kids every day because of the power of connected and trusting relationships. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for you and for the lives that you’ll touch.
