Relationships take work, so it can be helpful for a couple to have the support of a counselor to keep lines of communication open and work to make the relationship meaningful for both partners. In fact, many couples decide to see a therapist regularly, even when there is no “big problem” to discuss, because they find it helpful to hone their skills of relating with one another.

At PCHAS, our counselors often use Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy techniques in individual therapy. They can also be helpful with couples, as the aim is usually to find solutions to problems and learn ways to improve the relationship.

Couples who live in Texas or Missouri can see a therapist in our office in San Antonio or Cypress, Texas,  Farmington, Missouri or virtually
