In 1906, twelve children were moved from the Texas Presbyterian Home & School for Orphans in Dallas to a new home in Files Valley, just east of Itasca. Many things have changed over the past century, including our name, but through it all, Presbyterian Children’s Homes & Services has remained committed to providing Christ-centered care to children and families in need.
