Our Programs: Austin

Our first Austin group home opened in 1998. Located in Northwest Austin, the home serves up to six girls between the ages of 5 and 17. Our trained staff serve as parents to provide a nurturing environment for kids to practice positive behaviors and healthy family relationships.

In 2002, we established the Austin Child & Family Program to provide outreach services to families in crisis. Five years later, the program moved its offices to First Presbyterian Church. Child and Family Specialist Keri Moran helps families deal with issues such as death, violence, homelessness and alcohol/drug abuse while working to keep families together.

PCHAS purchased a home in South Austin in 2006 to serve as a group home for up to six boys. All of our kids receive spiritual guidance and Christian nurture through prayer, Bible study, and participation in the worship and life of local Presbyterian Church (USA) congregations.
